Let the Moirai begin

Draw from Greek-myth-inspired names, domains and Bonds, then change anything that does not feel like yours.

Step 01 Choose an Origin

Your Origin describes your god's place in the cosmos. It sets their starting Heart and Ichor.

Step 02 Write Your Legend

A Legend tells the table who you are, what answers when you call, and why everyone becomes nervous when you arrive.

I am [Title], god of [Domain], who [Behaviour].

A name, epithet, office or description. Who are you?

Physical, emotional, social, cosmic, symbolic or strange. What part of reality belongs to you?

What do you repeatedly teach, demand, protect, reveal, destroy or refuse?

Step 03 Assign Pathos

Pathos is why your god acts. Assign 4, 3 and 2 once each. A higher rating gives that drive more to risk before it is exhausted.

Pride

Authority, certainty, dominance, recognition and status.

Desire

Longing, change, possibility, ambition and transformation.

Fear

Danger, endings, consequence, survival and restraint.

Use every rating once: 4, 3 and 2.

Step 04 Record Axios

Axios is how your god makes their will real. These starting values are set by the Origin you chose.

Heart 0

Connection, care, mortals, responsibility, grief and love.

Ichor 0

Divinity, miracle, sacred force and impossible action.

As your chosen Origin, this is where your divine will begins.

Step 05 Record Fate

Fate is attention from the Moirai, not punishment. Every god begins at Fate 0.

Step 06 Record a Bond

Every god begins tied to something they did not create entirely for themselves. A Bond gives your god a reason to care, protect, betray, answer or refuse.

Connect your god to another god, mortal, place, community, oath, object, secret, responsibility or wound in the world.
