What is KHAOS?

In KHAOS, players portray gods drawn into mythic crises. Their primary task is not to solve the crisis, but to decide what it means.

The gods have enough power to reshape the world, but not enough humility to share it. Myths are born from obsession, not compromise.

The crisis is the arena.
The argument about the crisis is the story.

A Learn-to-Play Myth

The Angry River

The river is rising. Someone ought to do something about it. Unfortunately, the gods have arrived.

One player takes the role of Zeus. Up to four other players choose prepared gods and enter the flooded valley of Achelon. You do not need to learn the entire rulebook before beginning. The Myth introduces the main procedures as they become relevant.
